Opinion Outpost

One of my favorite survey companies is Opinion Outpost. I've been a member for less than 2 years and have earned almost $200! 

 

One of the reasons I like this research panel is that you only need $5 to get an Amazon gift card, $15 for a Citi gift card, or $20 for a check.  Most surveys pay $2 and take less than 15 minutes of your time.  That might not sound like much, but it does add up quickly!  I love using the Amazon gift cards for Christmas gifts or diapers.

I set up a filter on my e-mail that automatically moves my Opinion Outpost e-mails to a Survey folder.  Then whenever I have some free time, I go to that folder and answer a few surveys.

I recently picked up a denim shirt at a garage sale because I've noticed the look showing up in magazines and on blogs.  I love the idea, but I haven't worn a denim shirt since the late 90s.

Here are some looks I found to help me work this piece into my wardrobe...without looking like a cowboy.

Car Trash Can

Every time my mom gets in my car, you can bet she'll ask me where my trash can is.  I don't have one.  Maybe I should.

Here's a cool idea from Better Homes & Gardens.  Just put a plastic bag inside a cereal container and use that for your car trash can.  The best part is that you can close the lid so you won't have to worry about things spilling everywhere.  Love it!

Purse Love

Let's take a look at some pretty purses.

Linea Pelle Dylan Medium Tote.  $435.  Not buying this one unless I win the lottery.

Juicy Couture Canvas Floral Print Tote.  $248.  Pretty, but $248 for canvas.  Really?

AmyKathryn Marigold Gold Tote.  Currently $81.95 at Shoebuy (down from $99). 

This is my latest purchase.  And no, I did not pay $81.95 for it.  I've had it on my wishlist for awhile, found it at Amazon's daily deal site (MyHabit), used a coupon code, and bought it for $15!  Now THAT is in my price range.

Moral of the story.  Make a wish list, and watch for sales & coupon codes!  NEVER PAY RETAIL and be patient! 

(Okay, that was more than one moral.  I hope you learned something).

Space Planning

My husband hates it when I want to move furniture.  Especially since he gets to do all of the lifting.  He really hates it when I tell him that I don't like the new arrangement, and he has to move everything back to where it originally was.
